Here’s a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe V6. The non-turbo motor is typically the better choice of motor with Hyundai’s since that manufacturer is notoriously known to have mechanical issues. Even with full service records on this car, the motor just gave out.
One has to think that Hyundai must have some ticking time bomb that kills motors around 100k?! Our customer still owed some money on a loan and with the cost of a new motor, it was out of the question to dump any money into this Junker.
We were able to get his car paid off and get some money in his pocket. Needless to say, he was super thrilled and happy we could work around his busy schedule.
